The Falaq Foundation Islamic Research Center supports scholarship that serves our communities directly — from translated texts to research on questions our own religious affairs team is asked every day.
Why this matters
Much of classical Islamic scholarship remains inaccessible to Bengali-speaking communities simply because it has never been translated.
By funding translation, original research, and visiting scholars, we make this knowledge available locally — grounded in our own communities' questions and context.
Working with the Research Center gave my translation work an audience it never would have reached on its own.

Our Objectives
01.Publish Original Research
Support scholars producing original research on contemporary Islamic questions relevant to our communities.
02.Translate Classical Texts
Translate classical Islamic texts into Bengali and English to make them accessible to a wider audience.
03.Host Visiting Scholars
Invite scholars to Saidpur for lectures, workshops, and consultation with our own religious affairs team.

Center Established
Falaq Foundation established the Islamic Research Center to formalize its scholarship and translation work.
January 10, 2026
First Translated Volume Published
The Center published its first full translated volume, distributed free to partner mosques and libraries.
